We love having cooked breakfast every Saturday morning. This last Saturday we had this Coconut Crusted French Toast and it was DELICIOUS!

6 1-inch thick slices of French Bread
5 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 cup of skim milk
1 1/2 cups of sweetened coconut
Cream Cheese Filling:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3 Tablespoons of Sugar
3 Tablespoons of sweetened coconut flakes
5 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 cup of skim milk
1 1/2 cups of sweetened coconut
Cream Cheese Filling:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3 Tablespoons of Sugar
3 Tablespoons of sweetened coconut flakes
Preheat your griddle to 300 degrees (or medium heat).
Slice the 6 French bread slices in the middle. Don't slice it all the through because you want your french toast to stay together.
