Cookie Dough Cream Cheese Ice Cream

This ice cream is incredibly smooth and creamy; the cream cheese adds a unique spin on the classic vanilla flavor.

Ice Cream:

2 cups half and half
1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp softened cream cheese
1 ¼ cup heavy cream
2/3 cup sugar
1 ½ Tbsp light corn syrup
1 vanilla bean, or 2- 3 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt

Cookie Dough

½ cup butter, softened
½ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup flour
½ cup chocolate chips
