Crispy Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Loaded with chocolate chips, these cookies have a chewy middle and a crispy outside. The perfect chocolate chip cookie!

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
