Crock Pot Asian Beef Dinner. Lately the taste buds have been craving a bit of an umami flavor. This dish fills the bill. Simple Asian flavor and umami richness. I found an excellent sesame oil with hot chili pepper infused in it. Yum! This dish has just a touch of spice with a bit of sweet to balance.

•2 lbs chuck roast cut into thin strips
•1 cup soy or gourmet sauce
•2 cups concentrated beef broth (I mean by that-double the bouillon needed for 2 cups of broth)
•2/3 Cup brown sugar(to taste)
•2 tablespoons Hot chili Sesame Oil
•1 cup minced garlic shallots(to taste-I love garlic!)
•4 tablespoons cornstarch
•1 cup cooled (a bit) sauce from the crock pot after being cooked
•Fresh broccoli florets (as many as desired, I used about 3 cups)
•1 recipe Hot Basmati rice and quinoa
•1 cup soy or gourmet sauce
