Decadent German Chocolate Fudge Pie

Rich chocolate filling with pecans and chocolate chips, topped off with homemade German chocolate frosting.

For the pie:
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
For the frosting:
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Pinch of salt
