Easy Cinnamon Roll Twists Recipe

Cinnamon roll lovers unite! And people who love to eat cinnamon rolls, but hate how long they take to make- this recipe is for you. All you need is some bread dough (I used refrigerated pizza dough), cover it with a delicious cinnamon-y mixture, twist it up, and ta-da! Cinnamon roll twists in a flash. I drizzled them with frosting, just to sweeten the deal even more, and my kids (and husband) gobbled them up in a matter of seconds. They are the perfect snack or dessert or even breakfast food.

1 (13.8 oz) tube refrigerated pizza dough (or your favorite homemade pizza dough - I used Pillsbury brand)
Cinnamon Filling:
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1½ teaspoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Icing:
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar (more or less, depending on how thick you want your frosting)
1 tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1½ teaspoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray (or use parchment paper or a silpat liner).
