Using just a few simple ingredients, you to can make a delicious garam masala that you love and want to use all the time.

3 tablespoons whole black peppercorns
3 tablespoons whole coriander seeds
3 tablespoons whole cumin seeds
2 tablespoons whole fennel seeds
2 tablespoons whole fenugreek
1 tablespoon whole, green cardamom
2 whole, dried, red chiles
2 whole bay leaves, crushed
1 inch piece of dried ginger
1 inch piece of cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/2 inch piece of nutmeg
