Gooey Butter Cookies

! They are so easy to throw together and taste just like my favorite dessert (Cheesecake Chess Squares) in a cookie form! They literally take minutes to throw together, and they are sure to be a crowd favorite!

1 8-oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 box of yellow cake mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar
