Honey Granola Recipe

131

For three years while I was attending school at Utah State University, I worked for the cutest company called Cox Honeyland. Day after day, I worked with delicious, golden honey. Bottling it, pouring it, and tasting it! ;) I fell in love with the sweet, rich taste of a spoonful of honey, and all the other by-products: honey popcorn, honey butter, honey sticks, honey comb, and my favorite - honey granola. I knew it was going to be a good day when there was a bag of honey granola involved! This is

20
4 cups uncooked oats (quick or old fashioned)
1 ½ cups shredded coconut
1 cup finely chopped pecans
½ cup sesame seeds
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup honey (I only use 100% Pure Raw Honey from Cox's, but I may be biased ;) )
1/3 cup vegetable oil
½ tsp vanilla
1 8oz package dried apples, cut up
In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in honey, oil and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Divide into 2 equal parts and bake each part in a 15 x 10 inch cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes...
