2 (10.5 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup half and half or cream
1 1/2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into large chunks
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 large lemon, halved and thinly sliced
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
