LIGHT AND HEALTHY BANANA MUFFINS

These muffins are bananas.... well they are made with bananas. This lightened up version may be light on calories but not on flavor. You won't even realize you are eating a healthier muffin!

2 large bananas, ripe (or 3 medium)
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large egg whites
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup crushed pecans
