Low Fat Banana Bread Recipe

After I had my first baby, my husband and I both had quite a bit of weight to lose. Whenever we were craving a snack, this was our go-to recipe! It is so easy to make and tastes great! It is also a great way to use up those brown bananas on your counter (we tend to have a lot of those!).

2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe banana (3-5 bananas)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
