Monkey Bread Recipe

Balls of sweet bread dough coated in sugar and cinnamon, baked in a bundt pan and drizzled with a creamy glaze!

2 and 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1/4 cup (56 g) unsalted butter
4 cups (500 g) plain/all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (100 g) caster/granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
For the Coating
3/4 cup (170 g) unsalted butter
3/4 cup (150 g) caster/granulated sugar
3/4 cup (150 g) brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze
1 cup (125 g) icing/powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ( 4 tablespoons heavy cream )
For the Dough Dissolve the yeast in 1/4 cup (60ml) of warm water. Let it sit for 2 minutes. Place the milk and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is hot....
