Old Fashioned Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Every summer our family pulls out our ice cream machine and makes Old Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream. My favorite is when we add candy or fruit to the ice cream. I LOVE when we add Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Pinch salt
