Pan Seared Blackened Cod with Fresh Pineapple Salsa

For the Cod
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp canola oil
1 lb frozen wild Alaska cod fillets, thawed and patted dry
For the Salsa
2 C chopped pineapple
1 C chopped tomato
½ C diced red onion
½ C chopped cilantro
1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles, drained
1 chopped jalapeño
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tbsp lime juice
salt and pepper, to taste
