A rich fudge brownie pie topped with a white chocolate peppermint bark cheesecake and Cool Whip

For the Peppermint Bark
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening, divided
1/4 cup candy cane pieces

For the Pie
1 refrigerated pie crust (Pillsbury)
1 box brownie mix (for 9x13 pan)
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup oil
1 package cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon shortening
1 Cool Whip (8 oz.)
