1 pound pork chops, trimmed
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1 cup port
1/2 cup fig preserves
1/8 cup chopped figs
1/8 cup shallots, chopped
4 sprigs fresh thyme
