These soft sugar cookies have a light citrus flavor that takes them a step above the norm. Top them with a cream cheese frosting or dip them in chocolate and you are golden.

3-1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 cup sour cream
