Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

My son loves stuffed mushrooms and was always asking me to make them. After searching different recipes online, and not being able to find just what I was looking for, I decided to just make it up as I went! My son, as well as the rest of my children gobbled them up and it has become a family favorite. If you're looking for something savory, that is simple to make, you've found it!

1-2 lbs white mushrooms, stems removed
1 lb pork sausage (we like spicy!)
4 green onions, sliced
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened

In skillet, brown sausage with green onions Drain sausage Stir sausage into cream cheese until well mixed Stuff mixture into mushrooms, allowing a generous amount to overflow Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for approximately 10 minutes Turn broiler on until tops start to brown and crisp (2-3 minutes) Let cool and enjoy!
