Our delicious Simple Strawberry Sauce is the perfect topping for pancakes, waffles, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake or whatever you love to put strawberries on!

1 pound fresh strawberries, about 3 cups rinsed and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar, or to taste
2 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
