These sandwiches are delicious and so easy to throw together. Make them on a night you know that you are going to be busy .

Slow Cooker Cheesy BBQ Chicken Bacon Sandwiches

Ingredients

4    chicken breast ( mine were frozen )
1    barbecue sauce ( (16-20 ounces, we love Famous Dave's) )
1    pound    bacon ( strips, fully cooked )
2    cups    cheddar cheese, shredded
6    french rolls ( (I used 6 large onion rolls/buns) )

Directions

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour bottle of BBQ sauce on top of them. Cook on low for about 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Shred chicken and set aside. Set oven at 425 degrees. Split onion rolls in half and lay on a large baking sheet covered in foil. Put some shredded BBQ chicken on the top of half of the bun. Place 2-3 strips of bacon on top of the chicken and top with a handful of shredded cheese. Put the baking sheet in the o

    This one was surprisingly amazing! I used the Frank's BBQ Sauce and it had a spice to it.. for me to say that I enjoyed a non buffalo style bbq sauce means something.. I am rather picky and tend to not enjoy it, but from the other buffalo bbq sandwich recipe.. I thought I would try Frank's version of BBQ sauce since I liked the buffalo style so much and it was awesome!

    Also, I only had large hamburger buns, so I used those and I did packaged shredded cheese with precooked bacon slices.. delicious!
