Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe

Browning the chicken in a pan first, along with the onion and spices develops a deeper flavor and richer sauce for this chicken tikka masala which was made in a slow cooker. This is also a clean eating recipe.

2 tbsp olive oil
6 chicken thighs boneless, skinless, cut into 1" pieces?
1 yellow onion diced
2 tsp garlic minced
2 tsp coarse salt
1 1/2 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tsp paprika
3 tbsp tomato paste
28 ounces canned diced tomatoes
15 ounces coconut milk
cilantro to garnish
