I am always looking for new recipes to try in my slow cooker (if you haven't noticed by now, I am totally addicted to my slow cooker!) and so when I was asked to test one of the recipes on the new Coke with Meals site, I looked for something that would work perfectly in the slow cooker.
I ended up choosing a Coca-Cola (R) BBQ sauce recipe from Chef G. Garvin and adapted it to my tastes, then poured it over a roast and let it cook in a slow cooker all day.

Ingredients3 pound beef pot roast ( can use a rump roast )
1/2 cup coca cola
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup molasses
2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons garlic ( diced )
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon garlic salt
to taste red pepper flakes ( dash )
DirectionsSpray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast in slow cooker. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over roast in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 5 hours. When finished, slice roast (if you can . . . mine was so tender it just fell apart) and pour extra sauce on top.
