I love a delicious cooked breakfast! This french toast bake tastes absolutely amazing and you can make it the night before for a quick, easy breakfast!

12 slices white bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 cups half-and-half
12 large eggs
? cup maple syrup
Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 Tablespoons butter
