Strawberry Stuffed Angel Food Cake

Ohhh, angel food cake really is one of my most favorite desserts. I came across this recipe on Butter With a Side of Bread and just had to give it a try. I only tweeked it a tad — for those of you who know me, that’s just my style. Give this one a try, it is so amazingly delicious and perfect for any occasion!
1 angel food cake
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons almond extract
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
16 oz Cool Whip
1 lb fresh strawberries
3 oz sliced almonds, optional

Dry toast the almonds in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir constantly and take off the heat when they begin to brown.
