Strawberry Toaster Strudels

Heart-shaped homemade toaster strudels made with puff pastry dough, a strawberry jam filling, and spreadable cream cheese. These toaster strudels are coated in a vanilla-flavored sugared glaze.

1 pkg. puff pastry dough
Jam/Filling*
1 cup chopped strawberries, stems removed (measure AFTER chopping)
1 cup white sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch + 1 tbsp. water
Spreadable cream cheese (plain or strawberry flavored)
1 egg + 1 tbsp. water
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. spreadable cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. heavy cream or milk
