A sky-high frosted sugar cookie bar with a white chocolate topping and Valentine’s nonpareil sprinkles.

Sugar Cookie Dough
½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), softened
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cups + 1 tbsp white sugar
1 and ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp baking powder
Frosting Layer
3 and ½ cups powdered sugar
5 tbsp. butter, melted
3 tbsp. milk or heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. pink gel dye food coloring
White Chocolate Layer
¼ cup heavy cream
½ tbsp. butter
1 cup white chocolate chips (use high quality)
Nonpareil sprinkles
