Super Soft Valentine Sugar Cookies

These sugar cookies are super soft, light, and covered in yummy frosting!

For the cookies:
2/3 cup Shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

For the Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar (more or less depending on how thick you want your frosting)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup evaporated milk
