Those instant coffee powders can cost a cow, but you can easily make your own and avoid any chemicals in the process! This makes a great gift and you can double or triple it too, and put it into fancy-schmancy little jars. The secret is in the blending: make sure it's well-powdered.
Swiss Mocha Instant Coffee Mix
Ingredients1/2 cup coffee, instant
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
DirectionsStir all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Pour into a blender and process until powdered. (You may have to stir it once or twice as you go). Use 2 Tbsp for each 4oz cup of boiling water. Makes 2 cups of mix, enough to fill two small jam jars.
