Top Secret Derby Pie

While this Derby Pie is no longer Top Secret it is the most amazing Derby Pie I've ever tasted. You'll make this your favorite pie recipe and make it every Pi day; or every day!

1 unbaked pie shell
1 cup dark chocolate chips
4 eggs (or 1 cup egg substitute)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter melted and cooled (or butter spray)
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 ounce top shelf bourbon
1/3 cup real maple syrup
2/3 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
