You probably have all these ingredients in your home already. It takes about 20 minutes to make and it's a fairly healthy meal to kick off the new year!

½ lb shrimp, thawed (precooked and deveined)
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 tsp chili sauce
2-3 cups rice (this will give you leftover rice, which we use for other meals throughout the week)
2 sprigs green onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, diced

Mix soy sauce, garlic, and chili sauce in a small Pyrex bowl.
