A Taste of Our Honeymoon: Greek Salad

What can be better than marrying the man of your dreams and having a beautiful wedding? Honeymooning in Greece, of course! We had a great time, but I digress…this is about food. In addition to traveling, I love to eat, and you better believe we did plenty of that! But no matter the menu, we always started with a yummy Greek salad….

~ Tomatoes {I used grape here, but I’ve used all kinds}
~ Cucumber
~ Red onion {I had only yellow today}
~ Green Bell Pepper {didn’t have any today..boo}
~ Good olive oil {there IS a difference}
~ Red wine vinegar
~ Garlic
~ Salt and Pepper {I use coarse kosher salt for this recipe}
~ Feta cheese {I like to crumble it myself, so I use chunk}
~ Dried Oregano
~ Mint for garnish {didn’t have any of this today either}
~ Cucumber
~ Red onion {I had only yellow today}
~ Green Bell Pepper {didn’t have any today..boo}

~ Chop and mix together the first four ingredients, adding some salt and pepper to taste
~ Make a dressing with the red wine vinegar, olive oil and garlic
~ Mix the two steps together into one bowl
