Apple and carrot are great friends and very healthy too. This mash makes good appetizer as well as snack. This is carrot-apple juice in solid form plus more fiber. It’s filling and is a good substitute for processed snacks when you are hungry.

1 apple
1 big carrot
3 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons raisin
1 big carrot

Peel and de-core the apple.
Trim both ends of the carrot, then cut into segments.
Use a food processor to coarsely chop the apple and carrot, separately.
Mix apple and carrot mash in a bowl, pour orange juice over, then sprinkle with raisins.
