Authentic Bean and Cheese Burritos

What makes these bean and cheese burritos exceptional is the homemade refried beans that are so easy and frugal to make and lets not forget that delicious homemade taste! you will never use refried beans from a can again after tasting these authentic yummies.

1-1/2 c each dried pinto and black beans
1 onion halved (will melt in crock pot)
1/2 fresh jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped or 4 oz green chillies
1/4c fresh minced garlic(amount is optional)
3tsp salt
13/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tb chili powder
1/4 c olive oil
9 c chicken broth
To assemble bean and cheese burritos as follows
use 8 lrg. tortillas
1 cup onion chopped
1 cup green onion chopped
2c shredded co jack cheese
2c shredded pepper jack cheese
16 oz sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
1 onion halved (will melt in crock pot)
