2 acorn squash
4 tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper
1/3 cup pecans

Clean and dry squash. Cut off both ends with a sharp knife. Scoop out the seeds (you can save these to plant next year!). Slice rings about 1/2 inch thickness (or just cube it instead of doing rings).
