I've tried many ways to prepare baby back ribs... this one always gets RAVE reviews!
4
BBQ Rib Rub (see Righteous Rib Rub Recipe)
2 slabs baby back ribs
3/4 Cup apple juice
3/4 cup white wine (or white grape juice)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 T honey
1 T worcestershire sauce
2 slabs baby back ribs
3/4 Cup apple juice
3/4 cup white wine (or white grape juice)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 T honey
1 T worcestershire sauce
Remove the membrane from the underside of the rib rack. Dry ribs with paper towel and place in roasting pan. Sprinkle both sides of ribs liberally with rib rub . Pat gently to make sure rub adheres to the ribs. Cover. Let sit 6 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 250. Bake ribs for 2 hours.
Braising liquid: Mix apple juice, white wine, garlic, honey and worcestershire sauce in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 1 minute.
Pour braising liquid into roasting pan with ribs and cover tightly with foil.
Bake 1 hour.
Remove ribs from roasting pan. Baste with your favorite bbq sauce (we like Sweet Baby Ray's) and grill over medium heat just until sauce is thickened and slightly grilled.
