I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really like to adapt recipes to my way of cooking but keep the flavors as authentic as possible. This recipe is a great example of that! Typically, Ethiopian beef tibs are made on the stovetop but I have adapted this recipe for the crock pot! It is really very simple and can be made with everyday ingredients. 1 T. berbere (or chili powder)
1 T. salt
1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 medium yellow onion, diced
2 small jalapenos, seeded and diced
Injera, for serving (if desired)
