Best Brownie Mix

A super easy, super delicious brownie mix that is great to have on hand for oven baked or microwave brownies. I package up some to send with my college students so they can make quick brownies in the microwave when the chocolate craving hits.

7 cups granulated sugar
4 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 cups cocoa
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 cups shortening

Combine dry ingredients in 6 qt bowl; whisk lightly to combine well. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Place in an airtight container and store in a cool dry place...
