Literal cake that qualifies as breakfast, you cannot go wrong! These easy to make baked donuts are a fun way to celebrate your morning.

FOR THE DONUTS
1/2 stick unsalted butter softened
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cup cake flour
1/4 cup sprinkles
FOR THE VANILLA GLAZE
1 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
whole milk enough to make the glaze
1 cup confectioners sugar
FOR THE CHOCOLAGE GLAZE
1 cup chocolate chips
cream to thin out a bit
