Breaking Bad Bread Pudding

Do you love bread pudding? Do you not like raisins? My family does not so I searched high and low, then I finally made up my own. This elegant bread pudding has bacon and figs - it is scrumptious, I promise ~

Bread Pudding Ingredients:
1 full loaf of French bread
4 eggs
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 Cups milk – I used evaporated
¾ Cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ Cup chopped and rum soaked figs
½ Cup Bacon Bits – I used Oscar Meyer in the bag, but you can fry your own
Rum Sauce Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon of cornstarch
½ Cup sugar
1 Cup of milk – I used the rest of the 2nd can of evaporated milk
3 Tablespoons of Rum
1 full loaf of French bread

Rum Sauce Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon of cornstarch
½ Cup sugar
1 Cup of milk – I used the rest of the 2nd can of evaporated milk
3 Tablespoons of Rum
First you chop the figs and put in a bowl with 3 tablespoons of rum.
Slice the crust off the bread.
Tear it up and put it in an 8×8 pan.
Set oven to 350 F.
Place room temperature eggs and sugar in a mixing...
