This Caramel Pecan Apple Crisp takes an old favorite to a whole new level! Warm cinnamon apples, crumble oat topping and sweet caramel flavors all in one bite.

For the crumb topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter, diced into small chunks
1/2 cup chopped pecans
For the Apple filling:
3-4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
3 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of salt
1/2 cup caramel bits + 1 Tbsp water (or your favorite homemade caramel sauce), divided
