Chocolate and Caramel make for a great bar cookie that everyone loves!

2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
2 cups Flour
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup butter (3 sticks)
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
14 oz Caramel Ice Cream Topping
2 T flour
2 cups Flour

Preheat oven 350
Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, butter, baking soda, salt and vanilla in a mixer until a crumb like mixture is formed.
Press 1/2 of the mix into a greased 9x13 baking pan.
Bake 10 minutes.
Mix caramel sauce with 2 T flour. Layer on top of baked mixture. Top with chocolate chips. The sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
Bake 20 - 22 min more.
Cool completely before cutting. Placing in refrigerator once pan in cool makes bars much easier to cut.
