Noodles & Company Pesto Cavatappi Copycat

My favorite restaurant is Noodles & Company. If I could afford to go there every single day I would! I order the same thing every time I go, and it is their Pesto Cavatappi. The mushrooms, tomatoes, and delicious sauce can make just about any bad day turn into the best day! I have been searching for a recipe that tastes remotely close to the real thing, and I think I finally figured it out! Here is the Six Sisters' version of Noodles & Co. Pesto Cavatappi.

1/2 box of Cavatappi noodles ( any kind of noodle will do! )
10-15 basil leaves
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounce can of sliced mushrooms
10 cherry tomatoes ( or more if you like tomatoes! )
1/4 cup milk ( or cream )
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Parmesan cheese for topping

1/2 teaspoon salt
