A paratha is a flatbread that originated in South Asia. It is still quite prevalent throughout the area. Paratha is an amalgamation of the words parat and atta which literally means layers of cooked dough. There are many varieties of paratha and chicken paratha is one of them. Chicken paratha is a quick breakfast or dinner or a side accompaniment to any curry or sabzi. They can he had as an snack with your chai. The chicken paratha also make a good lunch box snack as they stay soft when packed

For Paratha
Whole wheat flour - 2 cup
Salt - to taste
Warm water - for kneading
For the stuffing
Chicken - 200 gms
Onion - 2 no: ( medium)(chopped)
Ginger - garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Red chilly powder - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - to tatse
Oil - 2 table spoon
Ghee - for frying the paratha
