Chicken Queso Nacho Bar

Here's a great idea for your next game day party or casual get together: A Chicken Queso Nacho Bar! It's sure to be a crowd pleaser!!

2 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 jalapeno, finely chopped (optional)
2 tbsp flour
2 cups 2% milk
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
2-3 jalapenos, thinly sliced
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
salsa
diced avocado or guacamole
black beans, heated
shredded chicken, heated (a rotisserie chicken works great for this)
tortilla chips
other optional ingredients, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, sour cream, fresh chopped tomato, fresh cilantro
