An ultimate dish conveying combined delicacy from soy sauce and pork juiciness! This dish is extremely aromatic and strong flavored, meanwhile it is very rich, so only several pieces per serving for one. On Chinese dinner table, it is usually one of the several courses, and served with plenty of vegetables. As for staple foods, this dish goes best with rice.

18 oz. pork belly
1/8 oz. ginger, sliced
2 star anise
3 dried red chili peppers
1 tsp. dark soy sauce
3 T. light soy sauce
3 T. cooking wine
5 T. sugar crystals (white rock sugar)
