A homemade version of the adorable sweet store-baught small choco bananas... Candies that are easy to make and do not cost much at all...

2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons powdered gelatin
1 1/3 cups water (divided)
2 teaspoons banana extract
1 1/4 cups chocolate
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon oil

1. Combine the gelatin powder and 1/3 cup water and let it stand for 5-10 minutes
2. Meanwhile, bring to a boil the sugar and the remaining 1 cup water. When sugar has fully melted, remove from heat and add the gelatin mixture. MIx with an electric mixer for about 10-15 minutes, until it turns white and thick. It should have the consistency of light whipped cream. At the and add banana extract and mix.
3. Pour the mixture into a greased 10x10x2 square pan and let it stand in the fridge for at least 5 hours. When chilled and jellied, cut into pieces at your convenience. It will have a marshmallow-like consistency.
4. Melt chocolate with milk and oil and deep each banana piece. Let it cool and thicken and enjoy!
