The soup's unique flavor is both sweet and spicy - which makes it delicious!

2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 lbs boneless chicken meat (dark or light), cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 large onion, finely chopped
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp hot chili powder (per the recipe...I used only 1 tsp)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 can (15oz) of diced tomatoes - or two large tomatoes, diced
1 can (15oz) of white beans, drained and rinsed
1 ounce bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 lbs boneless chicken meat (dark or light), cut into 1/2 inch pieces
