This classic Mexican margarita is the perfect blend of fresh lime juice, blanco tequila, simple syrup and triple sec, all served over ice in a chilled, salted cocktail glass.

Cocktail Glass Prep:
1/2 lime cut into wedges
1 tbsp sea salt or Kosher salt coarse
Simple Syrup:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Margarita:
1 cup fresh ice
2 ozs blanco tequila (also called white or silver tequila) 100% agave
1 1/2 limes cut in halves
1 1/2 ozs orange liqueur triple sec
2 tbsp simple syrup
Lime wedges or slices for garnish
