Cranberry Apple Crumble Bars

Layers of thin apple slices, tart cranberries, walnuts, and caramel sauce sandwiched between a delightful oatmeal crumble crust. Vanilla ice cream would be about the best thing to serve with this baby but it really isn’t necessary.
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups quick cook oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter, melted
2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup cranberries
1 1/2 cups caramel syrup (squeeze bottle)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
